Q2 : Do I need one license for one device?

it depends on the product The client version requires one license for each terminal installation and the server version requires one license for each user profile to be executed.

Q3 : I want to use it for trial, is there a trial version?

Q4 : Please tell me about the type of product.

There is a “full function version” that can create and execute scenarios and “Action models” specifically for situational operations. There is a client version and a server version respectively.

Q5 : Please tell me about the type of license.

Q6 : Can I change the installation folder of WinActor?

It is possible to move the storage within the same terminal as the WinActor evaluation version during the trial. However, in the case of WinActor, the version with the license key registered after purchase requires the same steps as the terminal migration.

Q7 : When I am running a low-installed version of WinActor, the message “PC info has been changed, re-register license” appears and WinActor cannot be started.

The uninstalled version saves the data of the PC that was started first and then confirms it's the same PC as the first startup. This error message appears when you copy the WinActor-related file and start it on another PC. Please download the WinActor documentation as zip and unzip and start.

Q8 : It starts with admin privileges on the WinActor installer version, but it throws a startup error if it's a regular user (PowerUser group).

Fixed by reinstalling the non-installed version. In addition, the deployment folder can be mitigated (※) by creating and installing a folder where “EveryOne Full Control” can be set directly under C: \.
※ In the case of Desktop and My Documents folder, because the environment is set to be deleted when you log out.

Q9 : Is it possible to buy a full license then switch from Japanese to English?

Q10 : What units do you need for a WinActor license, such as HW, users, number of cores, etc.?

One license is required for one device. One VM is required per terminal.

Q11 : Does communication occur during license activation?

Communication with the outside does not occur.

Q12 : Do you have a scenario license renewal every time you renew your license?

There is no expiration date for scenarios created in the release version. It is also possible to open scenarios created in the trial version in the product version and remove the expiration date.

Q13 : Can the scenario created with the trial version be applied to WinActor with the retail version of WinActor?

Q14 : If the version of WinActor is upgraded, can the created scenario be applied?

Scenarios that run before the version upgrade will not stop working after the version upgrade.

Q15 : Can't use the warning that 60 days have not passed. But the expiration date has passed.

This is because the trial version was originally installed or the first activation date occurred after the expiration date. Please note that the trial version has an initial activation period and expiration date.

Q16 : How does WinActor error information and fixes apply to users?

Q17 : Please tell me about the changes in WinActor 5.0.

WinActor Ver.5 is compatible with Ver.4. Scenarios “.ums4” created in Ver.4 can be read and executed in Ver.5. However, Ver.5 can only be saved in “.ums5” format, so editing. And save the situation will result in “.ums5”. Note that the “.ums 5” scenario created or saved in Ver. 5 is unreadable in Ver. 4. There are no nodes or libraries to delete from V4 to V5. The one you are currently using will not be available.
